The Goathopper gave a wall clock just like this to his uncle Rupert who is credited with coining the phrase "take it easy, greasy" back in the late 50's. You won't find it in a Pottery Barn. I'm told it would be priced almost double because it's handmade by me with just brush and paint. Our customers love that their Goathopper is always complimented when first seen by friends and family. It's a mash of banana bread yellow and pretzel brown that invoke, for us, the semblance of a quaint adobe in the Arizona desert. Its' rough-hewn complexion comes from a 10 step, 2 day distressing process created through years of trial and error.

We buy wood from all over the world. And after years of pallet duty and natural distressing, it makes an ideal canvas for crafting your Goathopper. A wall clock with this level of charm and mellowing would otherwise take years using store-bought wood. Crafted for longevity, Goathopper wall clocks are to be passed down for generations.

The Muskegon is a member of our Beach collection where sun-battered coloring and subdued distressing make for a beach clock that's both mirthful and rustic. Whether it's urban modern, coastal beach decor or farmhouse design the Goathopper's proven adaptability make it a utility piece that's perfect for the kitchen, den or outdoor porch.

NOTE: We could make you a clock in a day, but it would show. The real deal takes 3 to 5 business days. Only then does it earn the famous Goathopper seal and logo on the face. We've been told it's well worth the wait.
